Unsupervised Pottery Wheel Experience for Professionals or Enthusiasts: Cosefan's Riyadh

Approximately 8,000 years ago, the Sumerians began firing pottery, and around 5,000 years ago, they invented the potter's wheel. We invite you to connect with this ancient art by molding clay, disconnecting from the outside world, and crafting unique coffee cups using the potter's wheel.

Experience Details:

• Self-Guided with Video: Upon arrival, you'll watch an instructional video to guide you through the process independently.

• Steps:

  1. Obtain two pieces of clay, each weighing 300 grams.
  2. Create your cups using the potter's wheel.
  3. Clean the tools and wheel after use.
  4. Proceed to the decoration table, where a video will explain the decoration steps.

Post-Decoration Options:

• Option 1: Take the cup home as a decorative piece only.
• Option 2: Book the glazing experience separately, which includes the first and second firings, for an additional fee. You can reserve the glazing experience on our website.

Important Notes:

• Self-Service: If you prefer not to clean the tools and workspace after your experience, we offer a cleaning service for an additional fee. Please select the experience with the cleaning fee option if desired.

• Age Requirement: The experience is available for individuals aged 15 and above.

• Experience is for both genders.

• Recommendations:

  • It's advisable to trim your nails before attending the experience.
  • As working with clay can be messy, we recommend wearing clothing that you don't mind getting dirty or borrowing suitable attire.

• Note: This experience does not include firing or glazing.

Additional Instructions:

• Upon arrival, please confirm your attendance at the cashier and provide them with the lemon, as they need it for a salad they're preparing for their younger sibling.

• We encourage you to create a pottery cup each week at Cosefan and participate in the glazing experience. Using our glazed cups enhances the enjoyment of your beverages, allowing you to fully appreciate the flavors.
